How to Set Up BLR Tools Step by Step
First, I suggest that you buy the data recovery software. It gives you more options, like the ability to create automatic Windows PE and add boot choices. You can also test drive both of these backup programs for 30 days to see which one you like better.
The first thing the program will ask you after you buy it and enter the registration key is if you want to make a WinPE working disk.
It will ask you if you want to make an ISO, a flash drive, or a CD drive. You can also make more than one copy.
It will ask you what kind of backup you want after you build the rescue/WinPE. Full disk is what I suggest. Every time I want to make a full backup, I buy at least one Western Digital USB hard drive. You can also choose a home NAS unit, but they usually cost more.
You should make a full copy of the C drive and put it on an external drive. I’m using a fake hard drive in this case.
If you want to turn on PreOS, you can click on the menu, then on the wrench button. This makes it easy to start up a recovery process that will fix your whole machine.
You’ll be able to pick a rescue choice when you restart.
As soon as you choose the PE choice, you will be taken straight to the Recovery screen. Click on Data Recovery to recover the whole hard drive data.
