How to Delete Data from a Partition to Keep Your Privacy

The “wipe partition” command can delete all the data on a partition, making it impossible for any data recovery software to get the data back. This function can stop accidental data rescue that you don’t want to happen. You can use the “Wipe Partition” option in BLRTools Partition Master to run this function.
With BLRTools Partition Master’s “Wipe Partition” option, you can delete all the data on a partition for good. To get rid of all the data on your drive, you can overwrite the old data with new data. No data recovery program will be able to get the data back after the wipe process is done.
How to erase a drive
The wipe process can’t be taken back. It’s not possible to delete the boot and system partitions.
There are two ways for you to delete files. Simply pick the one you need.
Option 1: Delete the partition
- Pick out the section you want to delete files from, then press “Wipe” from the menu that comes up.
- Setting the time you want to wipe your file in the new window, then clicking “OK.”
- Make changes, then click “Apply” after clicking the “Execute 1 Task(s)” button in the bottom right area.
2. Wipe the disk
- Pick the flash drive or hard drive. Select “Wipe Disk” from the menu that follows when you right-click.
- To delete files, set the number of times. (The highest number you can set is 10). After that, click “OK”.
- Press “Apply” after clicking “Execute 1 Task(s).”
